By accessing or using Soundie ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Soundie is a web-based ear training platform that provides interactive audio challenges for learning and practicing audio engineering skills, including equalization, compression, reverb, delay, and distortion identification.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You may register using email/password or through Google OAuth.

4. Token Economy

The Service uses a virtual currency called "tokens." Tokens are earned by completing ear training challenges and can be used to purchase Audio Sets within the platform. Tokens have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscription details, including pricing and billing frequency, are presented at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to manipulate the challenge system, automating interactions, interfering with other users, or reverse engineering the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, audio materials, software, and design elements of Soundie are owned by Soundie or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without explicit written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Soundie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
