  • Usage data: Training results, challenge scores, proficiency levels, and token balance to provide the core Service functionality.
  • Technical data: Browser type, device information, and access times for maintaining Service security and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the ear training Service
  • Track your progress and proficiency levels
  • Manage the token economy and Audio Set purchases
  • Communicate important updates about the Service
  • Improve and optimize the platform

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Authentication tokens are cryptographically generated and expire automatically.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth: For account authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture as authorized by your Google account settings.
  • Cloud hosting providers: For storing and serving the application and audio content.
  • Plausible Analytics: For privacy-friendly, cookie-free page view tracking on our landing page. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR-compliant. See plausible.io/privacy.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication (JWT tokens) and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your training data

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics.
